The project is on hold. Too many projects, no time, and resources to do it all. I am currently working on the GHN3L131923 1967 MGB restoration.

Car and parts
2004 October 14

1966 MGB, wire wheels, steel dash, banjo rearend, and steel bonnet. The body has rust in the sills/rockers and the floors were replaced with 18ga flat sheet metal. The front wings are rusted around the headlamps and in the lower area behind the wheel. The rear wings have rust bubbles above the wheel wells and in the doglegs. Included with the car was a 18G 3 main engine and matching 4 speed 3 syncro non-overdrive gearbox. The engine turns over easily with a socket and ratchet. Extra cylinder heads were discovered under boxes inside the car on the passenger side floor.

Interior
A majority of the interior was removed and is missing. The steel dash and a left hand seat from a 69B was all that was left behind. Unfortunately the steering wheel has a broken aluminum spoke. An attempt was made by a previous owner to repair the floors.

Inside the car and the boot many items were found. A rare find, a D type OD gearbox. This gearbox was in this car but removed with the engine for an unknown reason. Oil pans, shocks, brake calipers, and boxes full of small parts, bolts, washers, the things usually found with an abandoned project.

Hardtop
An aftermarket hardtop made by Dynaplastics was included with the car along with to late model convertable top frames and header rails. The hardtop is in poor condition. The top requires new seals and is missing some of the trim pieces. The back window is loose and needs to be re-installed. All of the top's mounting brackets are missing or broken. The boot lid has an original luggage rack.
